Profile
Professor Staveley-Smith is a Premier's Fellow in Radio Astronomy whose research is oriented towards frontline radio astronomical observations with current world-class facilities, including the ATNF telescopes, and preparing the path for future telescopes such as the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) and its precursors, the ASKAP and MWA telescopes. ASKAP and MWA will be built in Western Australia which is also one of two preferred sites for the SKA.
